Hey You, I’m Kayla!
I’m a born and raised Maine mama who loves to adventure the outdoors and catch that raw, natural light. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Nursing and am a Registered Nurse in the NICU. Often times you can find me at the beach during the summer months or snuggled up next to the fire in winter. I’m married to the love of my life and we have three boys. Yes, I said it, THREE boys! We love to go camping and spend time at our family’s camp in the northern Maine woods. I’m an avid lover of Carhartt hats, natural parenting, and cold brew coffee.
As for you and your session, I can tell you it will be a little different than the average. I strive to connect with my clients and to be able to tell their story from all perspectives. I want your photographs to capture all of those beautiful moments both big and small including those precious fingers and toes on your littlest babies.
From beginning to end I will be there for you every step of the way. All of my sessions include personalized styling for all participants - even if it’s just you and your beau. I want your session to be unique and personal to you and yours making it that much more special. When it comes to finding a location for your session - let’s find the perfect spot. I want your location to have meaning and bring out the adventurer in each and every one of you.
